What is a Dumpy Bag?

Dumpy bags are large polypropylene bags often used on by builders and gardeners to store waste. Dumpy bags are perfect for this job because when empty they are incredibly light and when full they are incredibly strong. Dumpy bags are also sometimes called Builders bags, Tonne Bags and Bulk Bags. All are made of the same polypropylene woven plastic and can carry huge amounts of waste.

The dimensions of all of our dumpy bags are displayed in brackets after their name. This is in the format of length x width x height. Our Dumpy Bags come in a huge range of sizes to cater for all your building needs. We also offer a number of additional options for all of our dumpy bags such as Top Skirts, Tunnel Loops and Emptying Spouts. If you can't find the bag you need we can also have it custom made with our own dimensions and logo

Dumpy Bag Volume

The Volume of a Dumpy Bag can be found on the product page of all of our bags. We measure volume in m³ (meters cubed). If you are used to measuring volume in Liters please see the conversion table below. A dumpy bags volume can be calculated by multiplying the bags length, width and height together, then adding around 10% to take count of the belly effect.
