Manufactured from woven polypropylene (PP) with a fabric weight of 170 g/m², this ton bag is suitable for sand, topsoil, plastic waste, green waste and other non-sharp bulk materials. Please note that the 170 g/m² fabric weight is not recommended for sharp-edged materials — for those applications we recommend a bag with a heavier fabric, available in our webshop.
The open top allows for quick and easy filling with shovels or machinery, while the flat, closed base provides stability during filling, storage and transport.
The bag is fitted with four standard lifting loops sewn into the sides, enabling safe handling with forklifts, cranes or telehandlers. All four loops must be used simultaneously when lifting.
With a Safe Working Load of 1500 kg and a 5:1 safety factor, this is a single-trip bulk bag designed for one-time use. Limited reuse may be possible if the bag remains undamaged and has been handled correctly. When empty, the bag folds flat for compact storage.
