This Asbestos LDPE Bag with a maximum load of 25 kg, dimensions (80x120cm) and a capacity of 80 litres is a transparent, tear-resistant and internationally compliant bag designed for the safe storage and transport of asbestos and asbestos-containing materials in compliance with EU guidelines.
Manufactured from transparent LDPE (low-density polyethylene) with a thickness of 100 microns, this bag provides exceptional tear resistance to ensure no hazardous materials can escape during handling, transport or storage. The transparent material allows the contents to be clearly visible, enabling airtight and watertight packaging of asbestos-containing materials.
The bag is printed with the official asbestos logo (A-vignet), the UN number for asbestos and the ADR 9 diamond symbol for hazardous materials, with safety warnings printed in multiple languages including English, French, Dutch and German. It also includes the R-logo (Rifiuti) used in Italy for separate waste collection and recycling. These markings meet EU standards and allow the bags to be submitted to most waste disposal sites when properly sealed.
Important note: For packing asbestos-containing materials, a minimum thickness of 200 microns is required by regulation. We therefore strongly recommend double-bagging the contents using two of our 100-micron bags. Some regions may also require an additional UN approval number for asbestos removal.
