Benefits of the Easy Chute™

The Easy Chute system is designed to make debris removal faster and easier on construction sites. Unlike rigid plastic systems, the woven chute is lightweight, flexible, and easy to transport between projects.

Lightweight and portable – Chute sections fold flat and are easy to transport in a van or car.
Strong woven fabric – Made from 230 g/m² coated polypropylene, resistant to tearing and impact.
Quieter operation – The flexible material absorbs noise from falling debris.
Reusable – Simply rinse with water after use, let it dry, and fold it for storage.

How does the Easy Chute™ system work?

The Easy Chute is a modular rubble chute system that you can extend by connecting multiple chute sections. Each section links to the next via reinforced side loops, creating one continuous chute from your work area down to the container below.

Connect sections: Use cable ties or hooks through the side loops.
Stabilise the top: Place the filling board to keep the opening firm while loading debris.
Secure the chute: Fix the top section to a window frame, balcony, or scaffolding with straps or solid anchor points.

Tip: Keep the chute as vertical as possible for smooth debris flow and less stress on the woven fabric. Below this section you will find a video that shows step by step how to correctly install and use the Easy Chute.

Suitable Materials

The Easy Chute is designed for common construction and renovation debris. Its strong woven fabric allows materials to slide down smoothly while resisting tearing.

For sharp or heavy debris, such as broken tiles or concrete fragments, it is recommended to use rubble sacks first. This helps protect the chute and ensures smoother operation.

Common Uses for the Easy Chute™

Handy Advice for Using the Easy Chute™

Bag sharp debris first
For sharp materials like tiles or concrete fragments, place the debris in rubble bags before sending it down the chute. Our starter kit already includes rubble sacks.
Simple rule: bag it and chute it.
Use a filling board
A cardboard filling board keeps the chute opening stable while loading debris. Keep it dry, as wet cardboard loses strength. You can also create a simple hopper by cutting the bottom out of a bucket.
Calculate chute length correctly
One Easy Chute section is 3 metres long. When two sections are connected, the total length becomes 5.4 metres due to a 60 cm overlap.

Tip: Consider ordering one extra chute section in case sharp debris damages the fabric. The Easy Chute system has been successfully tested at heights of up to 30 metres.

Easy Chute™ Starter Packs

At 123BigBags, we offer different Easy Chute starter packs and individual chute sections so you can choose the right setup for your project. Each Easy Chute section is 3 meters long and can easily be connected to extend the chute for higher floors.

A single Easy Chute starter pack is ideal for smaller renovation projects, while a double Easy Chute starter pack provides extra reach for taller buildings or roofing work.

Our starter packs include the essential components:

Easy Chute sections (3 meters each)
Filling skirt
Tie-down straps
Zip ties for connecting the chute sections
Rubble bags for sharp or heavy debris

If additional height is needed, you can simply add extra Easy Chute sections to extend the system. This modular design makes it easy to adapt the chute to different buildings and construction projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about rubble chutes, debris chutes and waste chute systems for construction and renovation projects.

A rubble chute is a system used to move construction waste from upper floors down to a container at ground level. The Easy Chute is a flexible, modular version made from strong woven polypropylene fabric. Sections connect via cable ties or hooks through side loops to form one continuous chute. It replaces heavy rigid plastic debris chutes and folds flat when not in use.

No. The Easy Chute system works without buckets. Unlike traditional bucket chute systems, it uses rubble sacks for sharp or heavy debris and a filling skirt to keep the opening stable. This makes it significantly cheaper to run, more sustainable because there are no disposable plastic buckets on every project, and faster to set up. Our starter kits already include rubble sacks so you have everything you need from day one.

One Easy Chute section is 3 metres long. When two sections are connected there is a 60cm overlap making the combined length 5.4 metres. Measure the height from your work area to the container below and divide by 2.4 to get the number of sections needed. Our team can help you calculate the exact setup for your project.

A rubble chute handles most common construction and renovation debris including plaster, bricks, tiles, concrete, wood and roofing material. For sharp or heavy fragments like broken tiles or concrete pieces, place the debris in rubble sacks first before sending them down the chute. This protects the fabric and ensures smooth operation.

The Easy Chute system has been successfully tested at heights of up to 30 metres. You can extend the system by adding extra sections with each section adding approximately 2.4 metres of usable height when connected. This makes it suitable for renovation and demolition work on multi-storey buildings.

Yes. The Easy Chute is designed for repeated use. After each job rinse the sections with water, let them dry and fold flat for storage or transport. The woven polypropylene fabric resists tearing and impact and holds up well across multiple projects. This makes it significantly more cost effective than single use rigid plastic chutes.

The top section is fixed to a window frame, balcony rail or scaffolding using the included tie-down straps. Keep the chute as vertical as possible for the smoothest debris flow. A filling skirt or cardboard hopper keeps the opening stable during loading. Keep the cardboard dry as wet cardboard loses strength quickly.

Rigid plastic debris chutes are heavy, loud, expensive and difficult to transport between sites. The Easy Chute is made from 230 g/m² coated polypropylene fabric making it lightweight, foldable and significantly quieter. Falling debris makes much less noise in a woven chute than in rigid plastic. It fits in a van or car and sets up in minutes. It is also cheaper per metre than most rigid plastic alternatives.

Yes. Custom branded Easy Chute sections with your company logo are available. This is a popular option for contractors and construction companies who want their branding visible on site. Contact our team for a quote on custom printed chute sections.

Each Easy Chute starter kit includes chute sections, a filling skirt, tie-down straps, zip ties for connecting sections and rubble sacks for sharp or heavy debris. Starter kits are available in 3 metre and 6 metre configurations. Additional chute sections can be ordered separately to extend the system for taller buildings.
