This Tonne Bag with closing skirt and a Safe Working Load of 1000 kg, dimensions (90x90x90cm) and a capacity of 0.75 m³ is a closeable bulk bag designed for the transport and storage of sand, topsoil and other non-sharp construction materials, with a closing skirt with cord that protects the contents from rain, humidity and external contamination. This model is supplied with the 123BigBags smiley logo.
Manufactured from woven polypropylene (PP) with a fabric weight of 140 g/m², this ton bag is well suited for handling and transporting sand, topsoil and aggregates. Please note that this fabric weight is not recommended for sharp stones or debris — for those materials we recommend a bag with a heavier fabric, available in our webshop.
The closing skirt with cord adapts to a wide range of filling machines, making loading effortless, and can be tied securely after filling to protect the contents from bad weather, humidity and external factors during transport and storage.
The bag is fitted with four standard lifting loops for safe handling with forklifts, cranes or telehandlers. All four loops must be used simultaneously when lifting. The flat, closed base provides stability during storage and transport.
With a Safe Working Load of 1000 kg and a 5:1 safety factor, this is a single-trip bulk bag designed for one-time use. Limited reuse may be possible if the bag remains undamaged and has been handled correctly. When empty, the bag folds flat for compact storage.
