How many sheets fit in one bag?

On average you can store between 15-18 asbestos sheets in the bag, depending on the size of the bags and if the sheets are clean or not.

  • Old asbestos roof sheets are generally covered with moss which makes them thicker and more difficult to stack on top of each other. Take it into consideration!

  • Our pro advice:

  1. Check the height of the bag and the height of your sheet so you can calculate how many sheets to put in yourself.

  2. If you are not sure, count 11 cm height for the first sheet and at least 1 or 2 cm per sheet that you stack on top of it.

  3. Make sure you don't overload it:

    1. Double check the instructions on the safety label attached to each of our bags.

    2. Make sure to always respect the safe working load (SWL) limit and not to lift more than what it is recommended.

  4. For very heavy lifting, you need professional experience and the use of a forklift.

Good luck with the removal and don't forget to take the appropriate safety precautions
