What types of heavy duty bags are available at 123BigBags?
In our selection of heavy duty big bags you will find bags with different SWL (Safe Working Load, i.e. the maximum weight the big bag can carry). Big bags 1500kg: Big Bags designed to be able to support up to 1.5 tons of aggregates or debris of all types. Big Bags 2000kg: Extra resistant Big Bags that can contain up to 2 tons of rubble or construction materials.

What differentiates these two types of SWL (maximum load) from heavy duty bags is the weight of the bag, i.e. the thickness of the polypropylene used to make the bag, which ranges from 180gr/m² to 230gr/m². The higher the weight per square meter, the thicker the bag. A high thickness allows greater resistance to the load that the bags can carry, as well as to shocks and sharp materials: a high grammage guarantees an almost unbreakable big bag, while standard bags are usually about 160gr/m² thick. Our reusable big bag weighs 220gr/m².
